Firetails Program 2027
Bacchus Marsh Netball Association is proud to continue our Firetails Program in 2027, providing opportunities for junior players from U11 through to U17 to develop their skills and experience representative netball.
The Firetails program is designed for players who are eager to further develop their netball skills in a supportive and competitive environment. Players will participate in a tailored coaching program delivered by qualified coaches, with a focus on individual skill development, teamwork, game awareness and confidence.

U11 Development Squad
Our U11 Firetails Development Squad provides younger players with an introduction to the representative netball pathway.
The focus at this age is on development, learning and building confidence, giving players the opportunity to strengthen their fundamental skills, develop their understanding of the game and experience training within a squad environment.
The U11 Development Squad will participate in selected tournaments and a weekly competition during 2027. U11 players will not participate in the Netball Victoria Association Championships.

U13, U15 & U17 Representative Teams
Our U13, U15 and U17 Firetails teams will build on players' existing skills through structured training and regular competitive opportunities.
In 2027, these teams will aim to participate in three representative tournaments, including the Netball Victoria Association Championships, as well as competing in a weekly competition throughout the season.

Training
Firetails training will be held on Friday evenings, with specific training times and further program information provided to successful players.
Eligibility
To qualify for selection in the Firetails Squad, players must participate in a Bacchus Marsh Netball Association competition in 2027.
Players will be assessed on core netball skills, game sense, and teamwork.Selections will be made by a panel of BMNA coaches and selectors.
